We purchased these properties with a view to develop them to the same standard as 3-11 Kirby Road and straight after purchasing the properties we had a royal visit from Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, to highlight the issues with poor housing within the Blackpool area, pictures of which were broadcast nationally. We carried out works in two phases (external and internal) to minimise the time taken to complete the development and utilised the situation due to the onset of Covid 19 by working outdoors initially. As a result of the works all flats achieved a “very good” EPC rating and are fully compliant to all Building regulations and Standards. The properties were fully rewired, new independent central heating systems fitted, insulated from top to bottom, re-plastered all walls, fully decorated to a very high standard and provided good quality external space for the new residents.
