Blackpool Community Grocery Store

 

We’re here to provide a bridge between food banks and supermarkets, helping keep families fed so that no-one goes hungry. 

To sign up to be a member at one of our local community groceries, all you need to do is visit your nearest store, visit and complete an application form. 

All you need to do is bring £5 for your annual membership fee*and a couple of shopping bags. We have stores across the country and your membership can be used in them all: https://communitygrocery.org.uk/blackpool/

The Salvation Army: (Salvation Army, Raikes Parade, FY1 4EL)

Breakfast, shower and hot meals 

26 years & over 

9am-11am and 12pm-2pm: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 

 

Street Life: (The Base, 48 Buchanan Street, FY1 3LQ)

Lunch, food and toiletries 

16 to 25 years 

12:30pm: Everyday including weekends

 

Blackpool Street Angels: (Bank Street Car Park, FY1 2DT)

Hot meal and take away food

7pm-8pm: Monday

Comfort Cafe: (St Thomas’ Church, 135 Caunce Street, FY1 2DT)

Hot meal and take away food

11am-12:30pm: Tuesday

Hot meal, fruit, cakes and hot drinks
