Queen Street

This building, a former hotel was in a dilapidated state of repair to the upper floor and encapsulates retail units to the ground floor. A locally based contractor completed the work at Queen Street. The property was transformed into six self-contained, 2 bedroom apartments and some minor refurbishment works were completed at the 3 retail units.

The building holds significant heritage value in Blackpool. The external façade, Red Accrington Brick, stone mullions, cills, and heads have been retained and a new brown UPVC windows installed in accordance with strict planning conditions.

Each flat was stripped back to brick, new structural universal steel beams and floor joists were installed to various locations. The renovation included rewires, full plastering, a new heating system, and kitchens and bathrooms. All flats have been designed to offer maximum space and light in the property and national technical standards were applied to meet environmental and construction regulations.
